A short clip of my puppy playing fetch with what has become his favorite fetch toy: the plastic soda bottle. There's a shot of his toy box...guess how much I've spent on toys while all the while, the best toy was right in my kitchen!
Next step: Feeding in the Bottle. Let the dog figure out how to get food out of the bottle. Its a great way to prevent separation anxiety (leave them with it) and teach them to think. Remove the cap to start with then increase the difficulty by sealing it up.
My 4 yr old Pointer wouldn't have survived puppyhood without this trick and now can open a sealed bottle of food in about two seconds, put the bottle down and spin it until all the food leaks out. It's impressive and entertaining!
