The character, designed and modelled by our 3D artists, was based on a real human character. The director worked with the 'actor' and this was shot on DV. This action was then used as a base for our animators to work from. Numerous render passes were done for the main character to allow him to blend back into the live action shots. The breaking wall, falling debris and in some scenes the car were also created in 3D.
