So your edges are sharpened, you P-Texed your base and now its time to bust out an iron and get on with some waxing. This is vital for "nourishing" your board's base (regardless of your riding style) and taking care of your ride. It is surprisingly easy to do and makes for a nice FAST ride.

  • @Gazooo29

    he could`ve loosened them ??

  • what household cleaners work well as base cleaners, can you throw out some brand name products?

  • yeah he didn't remove the bindings, maybe this was just a demo

seeing that the board looks very old

but still good practice to remove them

  • @pallarisari yea I know, i was just saying if i didnt have any base cleaner on hand and i needed to nig rig it

get a snowboard specific one to be on the safe side. also best to take your bindings off completely when waxing the board. there are little air pockets where the binding screws are mounted into. as soon as that air heats up it will suck the base of your board into them. never a good thing.

  • would Pledge be good for cleaning?
