Well, Britain once held TWO 5ths of the World and only with a few hundred men in reality! Nobody can deny what an amazing achievement that was. As for Germany, we BEAT them in the battle of Britain and therefore ruled out any possible invasion. We were at a stalemate, didn't look like winning the war but made damn sure we didn't lose it. England is decadent now but then it was GREAT!!!!! England gave the world football, Brazil made it beautiful.

I do not agree with arygirolamo, but hey, if a british steal a few he is called Sir. If he steal many he is called as Knight. Remember what you did with China, India, and Africa. UK is just an example of a decadent imperialist country, that now is just another american state.

Er. i think i'll take my chances with the Chinese thanks all the same. You have lovely women and City of God was a great film but 'ruthless, dominating efficiency' is not a phrase often associated with Brazil.

Nazi Germany *was* a very industrious country. They almost developed the A-bomb if it were not for some key defections. They were the first, I believe, to develop a working jet fighter. A very efficient state with very smart people. Combine that with a spineless European continent that kept appeasing Hitler and not wanting to get involved (sound familiar?) and the Nazis very well could have taken over. Let us be grateful that they didn't.
