It is always refreshing to hear an American march that isn't by Sousa. He wrote so many marches, and so most of them sound like variations of the same march.

I'd like to disagree. I've heard so many of King's marches, I'd die to play something by Sousa.

Sousa did have some more unique marches, such as "Nobles in the Mystic Shrine," "Powhatan's Daughter," and "The White Rose," but many more of them are just too predictable, and he wrote hundreds.

In 1978 I played in a band made up of college and high school seniors that toured europe and we played this song. While in germany during the whistling the church bells started to ring and drowned us out. It brought back good memories. Great Job!
