@The1Antonio1 I really don't know where you heard that and why you're saying it like it's a fact because it's not, Adventists go to church because we believe the church is a hospital it is where you can lay all of your burdens down and have people there to help you and hear the word of God so you can get a better understanding, but the "church" itself is just a building we are what make the church as it says so in the bible "Where two or more are gathered, there am I among them" Mat 18:20

It's because they don't want to believe that our spirit can exist outside our body as it would oppose their doctrine of soul sleep

Why do SDAs ignore that we human beings have a spirit -- 1 Thess. 5:23 implies that we have a spirit, soul and body. SDAs believe that we humans are composed of flesh and the breath of God = a living soul.
