A short ride round Laon old town centre while on the road the south, its a lovely old town set up on a ridge over the Picardy plain, 50 miles north east of Paris. Theres a cable car to take you to the old town. The Audio track is Moby "Rushing".

Thanks, I wasn't aware of that, Laon has had its fair share of spilt blood through ages. I visited Provins on the the back the superb novel "Foucaults Pendulum" by Umberto Eco - can't beat a bit of Templar myth!
