@hawanja OK, they'll make them illegal. Then you can have trouble with your halogens and xenons draining your battery and crap, and often times overheating/exploding (if they're the wrong replacements), dimming out, and all manner of inconveniences, when an LED can stand up to the task without impacting heavily on you or your car.
Dude, I'm quite sure you could have the LED settings altered so they're not so bright or just change them to a colour that's easier on the eyes. Try them out first.

So just to clarify..... Vampire slayers should use an Audi to slaughter vampires....ok got it
Its so funny reading all the comments from people saying these lights are too broght and will blind on-coming motorists. The fact of the matter is that these lights are aimed precisely at the path that needs to be light and not everywhere infront of you. Vehicles with reflective headlight housings are the ones blinding you when the owners replace the recomended bulbs with those off road bulbs and extremely bright bulbs.

@minnime2 do you even know why audi went through the trouble of developing such headlights? because they want to stop xenons, if you stare at xenons it hurts your eyes a lot, these LEDs are just like natural daylight, it wont hurt your eyes, in other words xenons are brighter than LED but annoying to oncoming drivers...im hoping these lights to be compulsory on all cars in the near future..
