lissa8869--you have "codes" to do that stuff? Where can I get those codes?

On the drill bit end, What are you using to turn the "blender" part?

My friend let loose with one of his famous DIARRHEA attacks right in my fucking CAT GENIE. It has never drained correctly since. The smell of cooking liquid FECES is just PUTRID, DISGUSTING and VILE. Its pretty bad when the Cat Genie smells so fucking foul that the stupid cats of ours will not even go near it. :-)

P.S. One more thing on the smell... This is a temporary smell that only occurs during the blow drying step. Once finished, the smell is gone. No matter what litter box you use, there will be a slight smell when the cats use it. They are going to the bathroom!!!! Just think of us humans when we go to the bathroom...

As far as the problems with draining, there is none. People that do not install it correctly by the manual will have problems. You need to make sure the exit line runs right on the floor and then 90 degrees up to the laundry drain. NOT DIAGONAL!!! The water supply line can be diagonal from the unit, but not the exit line. I have noticed that the less you clean, the more smell you will get during cleaning. Cat Mode cleans more times exactly after the cats uses it and is the most efficient...

I have had the CatGenie 120 Unit for a awhile now. No problems so far, and I am really enjoying not having to scoop litter anymore. I have the unit set on Cat Mode, which cleans it 10 minutes after everytime a cat uses it. It is located in my laundry room. The only negative is the slight smell of urine when the blow heats everything up. BUT... I would take this slight smell over scooping and cleaning a litter box anytime! Plus, by not keeping up scooping with my old litter box, it was much worse

Stop copypasting!

They sell a dome cover for it.

I was thinking about that two and maybe a way to fix this would be to oersonally make a box surrounding the Genie fit to its dimensions so the cat could not swat granules or feces out of the litter box. I'd be interested to know if the inventors of it have come up with any solutions bc I'm sure you're not first to have that problem.
You actually don't need to go through all that hassle. Just unplug the unit, plug it back in, and hold down both buttons - push the auto-setup button until the 1 & 4 light up, then push the start button. This runs a drain cycle. I have "codes" to do all the other stuff too!
