I've managed to come up with a little trick to squeeze PWM sounds out of Ds-10. I'm guessing it'll work with ds-10 plus also but I've no way to test it.

I've almost had Ds-10 a year now and I'm still suprised what I can get out of it, serious respect to who ever designed the signal flow and spec of the synths, they did a fine job!

Forgot to mention in the video, once you have sync turned on you can modulate the tune knob using the Kaoss x or y to change the pulse width during a pattern.

  • Thanks. Hope you find it useful.

  • Cool!

  • Thanks. I haven't used Ds-10 much lately either but I did manage to do a christmas cover version on Ds-10 that I haven't done a video for yet. got totally distracted when I discovered this. Maybe you'll get a chance to play on it during xmas holidays. Cheers

  • Nice.., great vid. Man.., I really need to dig back into my DS-10 and start posting some more vids on it. I' ve just been so busy with the holidays coming up.

  • Me too. Best sound of any Ds software I've heard, most ds sounds suffer from some nasty aliasing. They hid it well.

  • I'm still surprised this thing still sounds nice
