Much of the nonwestern world is awake, the question is when will Americans wake, and I'm not sure this will happen in my lifetime. Americans do not like to entertain unpleasant realities, nor to have the paradigm of benevolent capitalism questioned. Reminds me of the Sleeping Beauty fairy tales in which a whole kingdom fell asleep for 100 years before the arrival of the prince.
