@jdliauw no its because jerry west played for the lakers and he didnt want to wear anything laker so he wore it upside down but then david stearn said he couldnt

@arguscraig3 cuz he used to wear it upside down cuz he had a good game so he just kept doing it. then david stern said you couldn't wear it upside down anymore so he chose not to wear it at all
