Welcome to a 7-minute PREVIEW of Campus Alpha, the Alpha Video Talks presented by Jamie Haith, campus alpha director in the UK.
The Campus Alpha course is an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith.
It's relaxed, low key, friendly and fun.
There is a FREE meal at the beginning of each session which gives you an opportunity to get to know each other.
Listen, learn, discuss and discover. Ask anything. Alpha is a place where no question is too simple or too hostile.
The Alpha course consists of a 7 week series of 30 minute video talks looking at topics such as "Who is Jesus?" and "Why and how do I pray?"
After each talk, we divide into small groups for a time of discussion.
Campus Alpha is for everyone, especially:
- Those wanting to investigate Christianity
- New Christians
- Newcomers to the church
- Those who want to brush up on the basics
There is no cost for the Alpha course! Just come, meet new friends, and explore together.
The first one in downtown Toronto is launching on Monday, January 31, 2011 @ 6:30-8:30pm. The course is 7 weeks long (skipping Reading Week) with a retreat after mid-way.
Please register at http://www.campusalpha.ca/toronto/ so we know how much food to prepare!
Alpha is not a course, it's just indoctrination. YOU ask the questions and THEY (the course leaders) give the answers. They are not interested in learning anything from nay sayers and atheists, which is why they prefer to target fence sitters and conflicted people. Those types are much easier to sway through a barrage of preaching and peer pressure.
