  • Having a father with PTSD would be tragic, but a mother with it would 10 times worse. Hence, through history, societies have avoided sending women into combat. Sometimes there's a good reason for sexist policies; as far as evolution is concerned, men are more expendable than women.

    PS: 2001-8 would have been so much better with an administration (like those of Nixon, Ford or Regan), that could execute a foreign policy without putting our troops through a meat grinder. Thanks a bunch, Dick & Don!
