In parts of Ukambani, the perennial drought problem has become akin to a way of life. However, one man has decided to facilitate the women of Kibwezi to dig dams in exchange for food. Dubbed kazi kwa kina mama, the project sees women digging trenches, which are expected to help collect rainwater into the dams.
