GLENDORA- The APU Cougars extended their current eight game win streak against Division III opponents with a 43-7 win over visiting Chapman University. Quarterback John van den Raadt finished 14 of 25 for 221 yards passing and three touchdowns, including two second quarter touchdown tosses. Senior linebacker Spencer Danielson's 96 yd blocked FG return for touchdown on the final play of the half gave the Cougars a 23-0 lead. Late touchdowns by Johnell Murphy, Oliver Petty and Tyson Hetzer sealed it for the NAIA's top-ranked scoring team. APU is the NAIA's 14th-ranked football team.
