@tabtui awsome! They grow pretty well indoors
-
Brilliant I am growing some inside this winter!
-
@stevelau1933 Well you plant one small piece, or a small spud, and from it the plant grows and then it grow new potatoes. the first one you plant kinda dissolve into the plant. An it took like 3 months. but outdoor here a potato will grow from May to the end of september easely

How big were they to start, and how long did that take?

If you don't mind me asking...how big of a size pot do you need or do you suggest? What type of soil should you use and where do you get your seeds from? You said wait about three months, when you pull them out, is there anything else you're supposed to look for so you can replant them? (like seed wise, what do you look for?). I'm going to try to get into this more and do the same. Maybe even year-round :) Thank you for whatever advice, information, you can give me and thanks for sharing!

@Svecenader1 Well I'd say the bigger the better, and I use a soil that drains well, since potatoes rot easely in wet soil.As far as seeds...you just chuck off a peice of an actual potato when you see it start to have little greenn sprouting thing on it. Usually happens in bought potato bags after a while ;)
