How Not To Run Pillow Rock

October of 1991. A bunch of Ocoee guides from OAR (Outdoor Adventures Rafting) and Southeastern Expeditions loaded up the buses and went to the Gauley for the weekend. I (green drysuit, red PFD and helmet) ended up guiding Pillow Rock. Scouted the line, and then somehow picked the wrong gate rocks.

Hilarity ensued.

Robert "Flash" Meadows is the "Outstanding" voice at the end, I'm trying to remember who the other folks were. And, of course, guiding, last names weren't something that ever got used. There was a Dan, who juggled, and a Kristen, both from Southeastern, and I think Jaimey from OAR, in my boat, and the kayaker was Dan "Ho".
