Personal Picks: Red Lipstick

I've had many people ask me what my favorite red lipstick is, and the answer really isn't easy because I don't have just one! I've highlighted my favorites in this video: ones I'm currently using or have tried in the past. I'd love to hear what your favorite RED lipstick is too!

Now that you've recommended lipstick (PS: I rushed right out to get the NYX pencil!), how about your favorite nail polishes??? I can't seem to find one that is a "red" red... :) Love your videos!

Hi! I'm so glad you're enjoying my videos (though I need to get some new ones up... eek!!!). :) I hope you're enjoying that red, NYX lipcolor!

Anyway, really good red nail polishes are hard to come by, imho. Sometimes the undertone isn't right. But my favorites have been "true reds" from OPI (I can't remember the names off the top of my head), and right now I've been wearing a cherry red from Sally Hansen.

I am very interested in your pics, especially Russian Red. My current favorite is MAC's Rapturous mattene, but it's not available any more.

I was curious- was the New York Color red you referred to Sheer red or Retro Red? I love sheer red, but I find it to be very oily.

Hi! I have used the Retro Red, which isn't oily (though be sure to moisturize before you apply it; it can be somewhat dry). Hope that helps! :)

oh dude.. lipstick on the teeth is horrible! i wish you saw that when editing or something.. however no matter what you do or what happens, you are still very gorgeous and know your red lipstick! :)

Wonderful videos! It's great to see someone promoting classic looks. My favorite red is Mac's Viva Glam 1. It's a very vintage matte red. I love it with a little Ruby Woo blended in the middle of my bottom lip for some dimension.

whats wrong with your teeth? instead of buying lipsticks... you should invest in a good quality toothpaste!!
