Please keep in mind this is my first attempt at creating Machinima. This was created from IL-2 Sturmovik footage using Fraps and Windows Movie Maker. Soundtrack is from the Gladiator Soundtrack

Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I think I'll be definitely taking the icons next time around as it draws away from it looking "more" realistic for sure.
As well, I'd definitely like to add a story to it more the next go around.

well its a flight sim an if you got a really good PC this game is the best on its highest settings

Um quick question Why is this called Blitzerg?
Im wondering cuz my gamertag for basically everything has been BlitZerg for about 13 years now....

Hey, that's interesting your tag is that. I just came up with it as a play on words between Blitzkrieg and Zerg as a way to describe how we were flying that day. (Sort of tactical but more of a mindlessly diving on things).

Not bad could use a bit of a story line and some voice actors but for a first thats pretty good and whats so special about the game? i mean the graphics look old and it seems to be just another airplane game...

It's an older game for sure but still one of the best WW2 flight sims on the PC. Since filming this, I've been using higher settings as I had a pretty old PC at the time and have a better one now. If you're into WW2 Flight Sims, it's worth checking out though.

I'd agree. Wish we had ran without icons when we did this campaign as it would have made it a bit more authentic. Not skilled enough in After Effects to figure out how to create a dynamic mask either :)
