Now known as LER (Lunar Electric Rover) Date- 15th Jan 08 Source- http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/podcasting/nasaedge/index.html

'NASA EDGE isnt exactly in the market to buy their own Small Pressurized Rover, but Chris did take a test ride around a lunar like desert area of Arizona. Of course, Astronaut Mike Gernhardt did all the driving, while Chris enjoyed the ride and took copious notes. Also, Steve Cavanaugh discussed some of the materials that are currently being tested on the rover. The Co-Host, however, didnt quite make it. D-RAT Mastermind Joe Kosmo thought the Co-Host could use some more advanced directions to get to the NASA testing site.'

  • this thing is epic!

  • will there be a day when astronauts will discard all organic or natural organs and live by brain and the only necessary organic elements to sustain life and its maintenance. and employ robotic organs necessary to carry out necessary tasks. It will be a scary sight but still be a human inside. wonder if this alters the human psychology. it will be a phenomenal evolution.
