  • I hear a little Armalyte in there :-) The music really shows a side of the SID we all love... the filters and the grittiness are really good. Cool use of high-res mode too. I didn't know about this demo until now; it's a goodie! Long live the C64!

  • A truly captivating demo. I don't care if other people don't like demos being used for storytelling. When it's done like this it takes my breath away. Amazing demo. I hope to see more!

  • I came from the C64 conversion of Second Reality to here hearing "that was putting the machine into shame, but see this!"

Well, it reeks of problems and lacking almost everything demos are about. There wasn't anything practically until the spinning planet which is really awesome (and bascially the only thing which belongs into a demo), and the tricks with the terrain here and there were nice too.

I'm kinda beginning to understand why the Kewlers hate seeing story telling in demos.

  • Maybe I am missing something? The music is pretty lame. It does'nt really go anywhere! Just the same few notes all the way through. May be it's because I dont understand the machine. But to me its boring really. Hope this didn't win. There can't be too many entries out there worse than this. Had to really struggle to watch this all the way through. The Speccy demos are MILES better considering the limitation of the machine! The C64 is much better than this junk, surely?

  • How did they program the spinning planet on 3:17!?

  • I think Fairlight's Boogie Factor had a better Soundtrack, but i am still speachless at this one. Fairlight really can push the C64 in ways almost no one else can :-) If only people where more dedicated to tight coding on modern machines, No telling what we could have. ;-)

  • Beautiful. Mesmerizing.

  • ...when dreams come true!
