Remember me

Normal POV
At around three there was a loud knock on the door. Codie jumped up and ran to the door. When she opened it Kevin and Frankie stood their.

Kevin: Hey Codie. Are Nick and Joe here?

Codie: Yea. come on in.

Kevin gave Codie a hug and she hugged him back. The last day of the month. This is the day Codies father goes to her mothers grave site and Codie after three years still hadnt willed herself to go with him. Instead she would stay at home, waiting. Kevin and Frankie walked in and made there way to the living room. Frankie ran and sat on Joes lap.

Kevin: I just got off the phone with mom, the school called.

Joe: Shit!

Kevin: Dont worry I covered for you. This time.

Joe: Thanks.

Kevin: Mom told us to start dinner, her and dad are going to be late. They have to pick up one of dads business partners. Apparently they have been friends since they were teenagers and mom wants us to be on our BEST behavior.

Joe and Nick rolled there eyes and all the kids laughed.

Kevin: You can come over to Codie.

Codie: Cool, thanks.

All the kids left Codies and walked down to the Jonas house. Nick was already starting to feel better. Joe had the right idea of surrounding Nick with family and friends. Kevin with Frankies help made the lasagna, Nick toasted the garlic bread, and Joe and Codie made the salad, while bickering at each other. Nick laughed it was funny how much they acted like brother and sister. They had known Codie practically all their lives and she was considered family. After dinner was finished they heard a car pulling up. They finished setting the table and started carrying out the food.

Mom: Hey, something smells good.

Dad: Hey boys come here for a minute

The boys and Codie all walked to the front door to great the Jonas parents. Frankie held up his arms and Mrs. Jonas lifted him off the ground into her arms.

Dad: well and Codie

Mom: Hi sweet heart. *She smiled at Codie*

Dad: I want you all to meet my friend David, and remember to be polite when he gets inside.

Like magic a moment after Mr. Jonas had given them the warning the house guest walked through the door. Nicks heart sunk to the pit of his stomach. It was him, the man from the street, the person who had raped him.
