  • A peerless influence for such artists as Jean Michel Jarre, Vangelis, Tangerine Dream, etc.

  • @johndee913 Hello Johndee913. You are totally incorrect. The song, Boroque Hoedown was composed by Perrey and Kingsley. They did not even know that their song was being used by Disney for the Main Street Electrical Light Parade until one night that Perrey was at Disneyland when he noticed that the song being played throughout the MSELP was Boroque Hoedown. For chance that you dont believe me, Disney now gives him and Kingsley credit for it. I worked for Disney for 19 years. Check it out!!

  • o_O!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the suit he's wearing! He kinda looks like Dr. Evil / Mini Me!

  • thats the guy that did the theme song for the parade no way

  • del chavo del ocho

  • @ChaosDemonwolf 1972 actually although Disney's use of it actually began in '71 when it was used for roughly 6 1/2 years as the first soundtrack to Walt Disney World's Electrical Water Pageant

  • No it's not. Disney bought the rights to it. the song's from 1963....the parade didn't happen until 1974

  • Great song, so many memories!

  • Actually El Chapulin Colorado is the character that inspired the Bee Guy from The Simpsons based on a silly latin superhero who all people he tries to help finish helping him instead, silly stories but acting is funny. So this theme was used for so many years at the end credits from the tv show, actually I saw it again recently on Cartoon Network at its late night Tv shows.
