My blog here: http://streetapologetics.com/
Tony Miano and I went to a college campus in his hometown. We had quite the day of evangelism as we passed out tracts, got several interviews, encountered jehovah witnesses who were totally silenced and left to ponder the true Jesus of the Scriptures. We even got to do some open-air preaching to a captive audience outside a political rally that was going on that day!

In this clip I met Matt. Tony was busy sharing the Gospel with a young man that didn't want to be on camera. Our day was about to wrap up as I was standing by and praying that the Lord open up an opportunity to use Tony in his conversation. After, I noticed a young man that was sitting down and starring at the ground so I decided to swing on over to him to see if he was interested in chatting a little bit and possibly do an interview on some surprise questions. He was feeling up to it and the rest is history:)

  • You asked him "Do you mind if we take a quick test?"

His response was "Absolutely not, Let's go." which is Not a contradiction.

In fact he was affirming that he did not mind and was willing to take your test.

  • this video has encouraged me to STOP viewing ALL secular media in my life.

  • @earthygreen Yes, you´re right, their method is different, they don´t declare people to be saved when they pray that prayer...the just start the work of Holy Spirit in conjunction with the Word of God and let them go...Its still better than not to preach Gospel at all... And because we can not see what is in men´s hearts we can not say if someone is truly repenting or not...

  • @777 The method WOTM uses is different than how it's employed here. They don't ask them to "ask Jesus into their heart". WOTM prays over them for God's intervention. But they leave the deciding work to God alone to do. They don't leave the asking to the sinner. They show the person that they are sinners and lost without Christ. Then they give them hope. Christ's Gospel. Conviction and Conversion take time. And they have yet to have their faith challenged.

  • @earthygreen I absolutely agree with You, Brother...Washer and Ravenhill would be very very sad and angry because of this...Even we can not see the Matts heart but salvation is not that easy. He said that he is a catholic...Catholics have wrong view of Christ and one little conversation can not change that...what do you think?

  • Isn't this something Paul Washer is always frustrated with?

Say a little prayer and you'll be saved?

I know prayer is key, but submission to the key fact that it is Christ alone through Faith alone.

I can line up 10 Atheists to bow their heads and pray the same prayer and it means nothing. When someone is put on the spot, they'll say just about anything to please the person who's in their face so they can walk away sooner without incident.

  • AGAIN with this nonsense; to each one of those questions, I would have answered "human". I'm sure a lot of other people did, too, but you won't see them on here...

  • you know this kid is one of millions who are innocent, great future ahead of them, lifes just starting out ... however they have no idea the seriousness salvation. awsome to see the gospel being preached to young ones like this... who in future can think back to this moment at a cross road

  • The notion of needing to believe in a deity is fundamentally asinine and completely absurd. If anyone is judged, it should be on true character, who cares about silly beliefs concerning deities. The idea that we can be convicted of thought crime, or deemed to eternal hell fire because of a simple "lack of belief" is a laughable joke, and that should honestly be something that everyone should realize is fear mongering 101 and one of the most irrational concepts religion has ever breaded.

  • @freespeachrulez the courts don't care about what you believe, they care about your actions, no one is scared of your invisible tyrant but you and your cult members. trust me. I'm not worried about being held accountable by some megalomaniac jealous raged tyrant for not believing in him.

  • @JahJah920 Yeah I would like to see you try and adopt your point of view in the court of law. You will get laughed at. God does exist and He will hold you accountable just like anyone in this world would. You can pretend that you are right and for your soul you better be right.

  • @UMANEDAKIDD19 NO SUCH THING AS SIN EITHER. YOU DO WRONG OR RIGHT. AND NO SUCH THING AS SINNIN AGAINST YOSELF. IF YOU HARM YOSELF LIKE TRYIN TO KILL YOSELF, THATS NOT SINNIN, THAT JUS STUPID. AND WHEN YOU HARM OTHERS THATS NOT SINNIN, THATS WRONG AND YOU GO TO JAIL NOT HELL, WE LIVE IN REALITY NOT SOME MAKE BELIEVE PLACE
