it really is a shame. so close but in the end nothing really happened. I was wanting to play this one. I really liked Paladin's Quest on snes.

The first game certainly wasn't an easy street by any means (it was actually pretty tough for a turn-based RPG in my opinion), but I found Lennus 2 to be ridiculously tough in some ways.
Remember those ghosts that attach to your party in PQ's dungeons if you don't defeat them during battle? They are even more of an annoying (and dangerous) pest in this game... don't want to spoil more than that, though.

Oh. And while I'm on the subject of Lennus 2, is there any news on whether the fan translation has made any progress, or have they determined the text compression is too difficult to work with at this point?

I have both of these games~ I got them a long time ago along with some other cool games. I wanna beat the first lennus before i move on to the second one though~ have you played through both of them? How are they?

The first one had a pretty good storyline. I just wish I knew more Japanese to understand what's going on in this one, although I did beat it a few years ago.
