I saw Kecak performed at this same temple in 2006... for me the highlight of Bali. I think 5mins in is where it's really at... It's amazing in retrospect how much the sound of the kecak chant sounds just like the Balinese evenings - full of bullfrogs and the rhythmic whirring of insects. Wonderful thank you.... I'm wondering where the dancing golden deer comes into it... maybe part 3...I'll have to watch the next one.
