This is one of my favorite pieces of music. It always thrills me!

I took these photos while on an extended walk on the hill with our dog. Since The Pearl Fishers involves the sea, I felt the seas of grass were a fitting complement to the flowing and beautiful music.

I created two sound clips on my Yamaha P155. The first is the chorus and the second is strings. They are both very moving and carry the deep emotion of the aria.
