Considered to be the largest and oldest MLK parade, I ran out of GB on my digital camera before the parade even ended. At least 100,000 people stood along the 1.5 mile or so stretch of parade route in downtown St. Petersburg to watch the parade that honors Martin Luther King, Jr. and this day. This is part 1 featuring footage of the St. Petersburg Police, City of St. Petersburg, U.S. Navy, Alabama State University marching band, St. Petersburg Times float, the Florida Holocaust Museum, and other organizations. Enjoy.
PLEASE NOTE: The MLK videos are compressed and as a result, not the best quality (but compressed to comply with file size requirements of Youtube). Original video is better quality. Thanks for your understanding.
