  • I have and do read the bible. Thanks. Maybe you forgot that Paul said the greatest gift is love. You are not judge, God is.

  • When you can actually QUOTE a scripture properly, then preach to me.

  • @icu4uraqt: I suggest you read Revelation 20-21 to help you realize that people who don't want him won't suffer an eternal death but yet a second one. "God is love," never forget that and God Bless you and your loved ones.

  • @icu4uraqt: I really like your viewpoint of Jesus, but there is one thing that I'd like to clear up. Those who don't want him won't face the consequence of ETERNAL death but a second death. 1 John 4:8 claims that "God is love." Since our God is full of love he would never be able to have his sons/daughters suffer such torment. Revelation 20:15 states"Anyone whose name was not found written in the book of life was thrown into the lake of fire," which will be their 2nd death, not an eternal one.

  • @Cobalt32100 That's terrible...you're going to say MrsRandomRedheads's depression and suicide attempt are trite matters? Let me guess, that's the power of Christ compelling you... :P

  • Jesus is perfection. He came to call the broken and sick spirited into His kingdom, not the proud and self righteous. Truth is we all need Him, and sadly the reality for those that don't wan't Him will be eternal death. God's is PATIENT, but one day you will have to face Him for judgement and there will be NO EXCUSE.

Every knee shall bow, and every tounge will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord!

Good comment but we aren't born into sin.

  • hello Lynne, how are you doing? you said you felt there was something wrong with yourself which caused you a lot of pain. I feel something similar about myself. It could be the sin we are born into, or a curse from a parent when we were little..or something that we went through...but in the presence of God we willbe healed. God knows what it is. He might reveal it... but either ways..you are safe in His hands

  • Saved from Suicide. . . really, i didnt know that not pulling the trigger was so hard.

  • @MrsRandomRedhead ,

You really are so welcome.I never,or rarely make comments without much thought. And,it has taken me many years of inner-searching to be able to comment as I did on your situation.I don't 'know' you,but I am going to try to impresss upon you just this one fact, you ARE a valid person, and you DO count in the grand scheme of things! Take good care of yourself!

  • @popazz1 Thank you

  • @MrsRandomRedhead ,

Thankfully, you didn't succeed,& you also learned that you don't need religion to be happy! I have had such bleak, dark thoughts before,& my ingrained catholicism made the situation so much worse. But I came through & am now religion-free & so much happier! Keep strong!
