It was well worth the investment in time and money. Shortly after the install I did a 2,250 mile roadtrip and found that my time in the seat easily doubled. Before the install I was comfortable for about 1 1/2 hours.... After, I was good for 3 to 4 hours. It even made me feel great to know that I didn't have to spend $600 - $1000 for a name brand replacement seat. The seat has held up fine all summer and I also like the fact that the bike retained the stock look.
