I made this baby Python recumbent bike in a single day. More info: see www.python-lowracer.de . Here Tim Biesemans, THE Belgian recumbent bike guy, gives it a try. You will see that he rides without hands. Yes, the Pythons are controlled by your knees. Weird, easy to make, NOT EASY TO RIDE, but ... BIG FUN!

  • Is the bike easy to ride once you know how? In other words, would it make a safe practical bike for commuting? Or is it just a novelty machine?

  • @deezynar there are guys using it in traffic. At least some do use a baby-Python. Most bikes of this sort I saw in traffic were Flevobikes or Flevoracers. You can find them easy on the internet. I guess those plans are even for free on the internet. Also search for the updates of the Flevobike or Flevoracer as many are made and are very helpfull.
