@TheWarriorProject I disagree. This was a PEACEFUL student demonstration. At no time were the police in any danger whatsoever. The students did not surround the police with locked arms. They were simply sitting on the ground. The students were well within their constitutional rights to protest in this way. The use of pepper spray was completely inappropriate in this situation, and a gross violation of the rights the police are sworn to protect.

Gah, I hate all this "didin't obey orders" shit. That's the POINT of what they were doing. They were asking to get maced, and they did, and it was all over the news. If they HAD moved, this would have been just another bunch of hippies that we didn't hear about. It couldn't have worked out better for them.
