"Bull sharks are known man-eaters."
NEVER in history has anyone been eaten by a shark. People get wounded and even in very rare occasions killed by sharks. But never eaten!
This is sad... National Geographic should know better...

she doesnt know shit. your more likely to die from a soda machine than from a shark. they're very shy and timid animals. they dont 'eat' humans, we taste like shit, they just come and explore us when we're in the ocean as they're not use to us.. they dont have hands like us so they have to use their mouths! they only have a bite to see and then bail! only 5 people a year die from shark attacks and that form loss of blood from these bites. they dont kill and eat humans, watch SHARKWATER

dude u should hear my class they say theres no sharks on the pacific coast of mexico.... its rediculous they also say that they dont swim near beaches. Im like, you guys are dumbasses its the ocean, theres sharks

All my shark books says that the black tip reef shark is the shark that kills most people each year, because they swim in very big groups, then bull shark nr. 2 because it can swim in very shallow water, and up rivers. Tiger shark nr. 3 because it eats almost everything, and then the great white.

Surfergurl your full of crap. I also live in Australia and have surfed all over and havn't seen any sharks. As if you would surf in shark infested waters, please! Us Australians are smarter than that.

yeah but you live where there is clear water. here in the US, a lot of ocean water isn't clear so you can't see the sharks. When the water is clear, there is less likely for a shark attack because sharks can see us better too and they usually don't consider us food.

they dont just attack, they're curious. we dive with them here in mexico and sometimes we have four or five surrounding us at a time. they are AMAZING animals!!
