I have forgotten the number of times I have cried like a baby at the end of this film, I am 37 now and it still gets me every time, and the music is astonishing, Ryuchi Sakamoto is a genius.

I have watched this movie as a teen, and this final scene I will never forget. It shows the stupidity of war. Ending this movie with this scene and Ryuchi Sakamoto's musicpiece is just brilliant.
