@SorgensKammer360 Hmmm, maybe if you read your facts, you'd see that the first phase isn't scheduled to break ground until 2012. They sort of have to get through something called an environmental review first.

you will see the Desert Xpress high speed rail system going from Victorvill C.A. To Las Vegas, because they are going to be starting on their construction in 5-6 month from now, and you can ride on it in 2014

Prop 1A was created back in 2004, and funds ONLY a high-speed rail system along with an additional $950 million for various commuter rail improvements. The money cannot be spent for anything else.

Watch and see what happens there will be no rail system, there is no money to build the rail system, prop 1A only seeks to make up for the already existing deficit.
