I beg to differ. Graphical computing technology has only been in existence since the last 40 years, and in that time we have advanced at such a rapid rate that what once could only display an image 64 pixels across can now render that in real time. And even today we can play GTA vice city on our phones, and based on moore's law, that computing technology will double in the next 4 years. It would a logical impossibility that the current generation of computer hardware won't be miniaturized soon.

BEHOLD !!!! The most advanced gaming engine. I bet Crytek will start develop Cryengine 4, not that they would need it for the next few years, but it never knows.
