Hubert Bonisseur de la Bath, aka OSS 117, is the French spy considered by his superiors to be the best in the business. The year is 1967 - he's been sent on a mission to Rio de Janeiro, to find a former high-ranking Nazi who went into exile in South America after the war. His eventful investigation takes him all across Brazil, from Rio to Brasilia and the Iguazu Falls, accompanied by a charming Mossad agent who is also looking for the Nazi. The man is charming, and so is the young woman. Set to the strains of bossa nova, their tale is by turns an adventure and a love story.

  • French have this thing with comedies. They made Le Gendarme series, Asterix & Obelix, Les Visitores (not the best though), Taxi series, now this... They are just great when it comes to comedies!

  • @Iwatchtrek First World is an outdated term from the Cold War--it's not used in correct conversation. And the highest rate of religion? What the hell does that even mean?

  • Sean Conery??????????????jajajajajaaj

  • Jean Dujardín...!! Where have you been all my life?!! ¡Dónde has estado toda mi vida?!!

  • @Iwatchtrek Really? Which tests are you talking about?

  • @Iwatchtrek So yes, even though I supported my point of view with facts, I'll declare you the winner of our little "Internet Hissy Fit" debate. It's old. I'm bored with it. So yes: Americans are untouched, "ooooh" we're all Southern Baptist Christians, We still think Bush is President, we use cans and strings to communicate. You're as bad as jingoist isolationists in your assumptions and stereotypes. You initially annoyed me for speaking in absolutes. Avoid that trap dude. Learn from it.

  • @Iwatchtrek Is your definition of "untouched" expressed in terms of: few reduced Internet, no freedom of press, very little cultural or ethnic diversity, then yeah North Korea's citizens are more "untouched" than Americans. If you wanted to study education levels with the Sudan (test scores), then yeah - Sudan wins, (you did not make a distinction of 1st or 3rd world), And Gallup.com (the folks who do the polls) states that Bangladesh was the most religious country in the world rate of 99%+.

  • @cqtaylor Did you just say North Korea is untouched? Did you just compare Sudan to a first world country? And out of all the FIRST WORLD countries, America has the highest rate of religion.

  • @Iwatchtrek Oh okay, thanks for clearing that up. Is this the part where I'm suppose to mention North Korea (untouched), Denmark (privileged), Sudan (lowest test scores - do they even test?), and Saudi Arabia (highest rate of religion, being Islam I suppose). Not that any of these countries are better or worse, and not to steal your thunder. I realize how popular it is for kids to rip on the U.S. after watching a couple of great foreign language films or independent ones. Stay Original ;-)
