could you show how to wire strobes in series to a pull station

You can use really any size wire that can hold the number of volts you are putting into the alarm (i.e. 12v). I would recommend 22 AWG wire that can be found on Ebay to transport 12v.

@familyguy6595 To wire them in series, just connect two wires to one terminal on the horn. So, where I put the wires from the pull stations on the horn, on those terminals, just add another wire going from positive on the horn strobe to the positive on the second and the same for negative.

@AlarmTechnology Thank you, and welcome to the community of fire alarm collectors! Most horn-strobes CAN do a code 3 without a panel. You can usually set it through a switch or jumper. My Wheelock AS has a code-3 jumper, for example. When removed, it will sound continuously. The amount of strobes depends on the amperage. It is usually about 10 if you are using a 2 amp supply.

@Ipodtouchappsrule I wired both. It depends on your horn/strobe. Some only have 2 terminals to use both horn and strobe. Those that have 4 can operate independently or together either automatically, through a switch, or through a jumper. Check your manual. For example, on a Gentex Commander 3 you wire the 1st and 3rd terminals in a two wire system, which this is.

@Ipodtouchappsrule I used 16 gauge speaker wire, but you can use any wire as long as it is no higher than 18 gauge. For example, DO NOT USE 20 gauge wire... it is too thin. I got it off of amazon, just search for it. If you are on the cheap, you may be able to use telephone wire or cat 5. The problem is that the gauge may not be high enough. I take no responsibility for any damage you may incur.
