err an overflow is if the value reaches his max and wraps around iirc, so it starts counting at zero.

I wonder if this also occurs in Super Columns, since it seems to be a modified version of this ROM.

@tar1982 The Game Gear and the Sega Master System is EXACTLY THE SAME (I do own both and unlike your messed up memory) I know they are both the same, so this glitch can be done on SMS or GG

That's not the Game Gear version of Columns buddy. I would know since I used to have both the Game Gear and the game w/ the original packaging, Columns. That looks more like the Master System version. Anyway, fix the title.

I played it at normal speed.
I admit, however, that I used save states, because that score needed several DAYS to reach.
