Synergy Communities

Synergy is not about connections, but rather connecting. While the popular networking adage is "it's not what you know but who you know," here at Synergy, we believe in creating a space where what and who you know can both be equally honored and organically expanded. We live by our values and our namesake and in doing so the mission of Synergy is holistic: connecting people with people, ideas, resources, and opportunities to become something greater than the sum of its parts.

We are a non-profit organization designed to help bring people and new technologies together for the benefit of society as a whole.

The word synergy comes from the Greek syn-ergos, meaning working together and describes a situation where different entities cooperate advantageously for a final outcome.

Synergy is an intentional lifestyle community made up of people from all religions, cultures and backgrounds who seek to reinforce thoughtfulness for others, kindness in the community, honesty in business, courtesy in society and fairness in all things.

SynergyCommunities.com is a social network designed to facilitate these aims and bring communities of like-minded people together who share similar interests.

If we can connect with one another, exchange ideas, offer each other work, collaborate, ultimately create Synergy between ourselves then we can increase our capacity to create and manifest the things we want in our lives.

We can live more fully when we have a sense of community and have a circle of influence that we can reach out to in all manner of ways.

By building up communities of people interested in the same fields and also in complementary fields to ours we can create a like-minded community around us of the people that are most likely to understand and appreciate us and that we will also be able to learn the most from.

We have started by building up eight communities of the people that have most impacted our lives. We believe that by bringing these people together we can increase the wave of positive change in the world.

Synergy Chef - A resource for chefs, great food, recipes and information

Synergy Green - Bringing together green technologies, environmental activism and conscious consumers

Synergy Yoga - Bringing together yoga studios, teachers and enthusiasts

Synergy Healing Arts - Helping you approach your health holistically

Synergy Explorer - See new places, meet new people

Synergy Outreach - People reaching out to help others

Synergy IT - New Technologies for a new era - Promote yourself and your business online

Synergy Creative Arts - Bringing together amazing artists in all fields, students, enthusiasts and collectors


We hope Synergy communities will be a rich resource for you to take from and contribute to.

Some examples:

So if you are having a party and need to find a great chef
or
you are building a new house and want to use eco-friendly materials
or
you just moved and you want to find out where you can go to practice yoga
or
you have some vacation time coming up and you need some help figuring out where to go and what to do
or
you want to donate your time or money to education for children who wouldn't get it otherwise
or
you are having computer issues and if you could just get some help!
or
you are a starving artist and you want to sell some of your art
or
you haven't been sleeping well and you want to talk to someone about it or or or....

The more we all contribute the better a resource Synergy can be for many aspects of our lives ~ rich answers to what we are looking for.

When it comes to building a better world for our children it comes down to organic wholesome foods, a comprehensive array of healing modalities, increasing our awareness through spiritual practices, knowing what choices to make to best care for our natural resources, reaching out to children and communities that are less fortunate than we are, enjoying and supporting the arts so creativity can flourish, connecting with different cultures to better understand our own and using the technology of the internet as a tool for modern living and not some kind of slavery.

The goal of the network is about helping people to be free to live their passion, to share their strengths and collaborate with people who have different and complementary skills.

Through connecting with people, companies and organizations on the network individuals can find ways to contribute to society that will also enable them to support themselves.

The aim is to live a healthy happy life that is sustainable and fulfilling.

To be a part of Synergy Communities is to recognize that we can do far more by working together than we ever could on our own.
