Nice job Brandon. I love my new hammock!!!!!!!! Made one little mod but i can't wait for winter time. Your video turned out much better than mine.......lol I plan to redo it once winter time gets here.
Great vid, Brandon. Can't wait to hang all along the coast (WA, OR, CA) beginning Friday. Your product is stellar - service incredible and shipping lightning quick!! Kudos to you!
I just got my hammock from Warbonnet, and I don't think that carbiner is really needed, I just remove the belt from the buckles and fasten it like he did with the first end. Its very easy to do this and don't take any time or dexterity that might be lacking in cold weather.
@kitsunegames If the ridgeline is too tight, that means that the angles on your hang aren't correct, or ideal. You shouldn't have to adjust your ridgeline.
Not sure if you're still about, and will look elsewhere for an answer in case you aren't, but was wondering how you adjust for the ridgeline if it is too tight?
Using a hammock is different some people prefer them, some hate them and some couldn't live with out them. The pro's of hammocks are generally light pack weight and usually very very comfy. I have heard many stories of people with horrible back pain who thought they could never camp again until they found hammock. But, hammocks can be quite cold when used improperly but AMAZINGLY warm when used right. Also the lack of a tent is sometimes an inconvenience. It's really up to you to decide.
My Warbonnet 1.1 arrived in Melbourne, Australia yesterday. Can't wait to use it!

I've seen that dude at that bar across the street from the Rio a few times, he's short.
