@bdmd1948, I bought some #6 Lotus Flower Oil back in 2005 from Cleopatra Palace Perfumes. I loved it. My dilemma is that I lost the address and any way of getting in contact with the owner. Would you still have the mailing address of the store? If you do, could you email it to me? It would greatly be appreciated! kharimartindavis@yahoo.com
I visited Cleopatra Palce Perfumes & it was incredible. The flowers they extract the oils from are in beautiful gardens. I''m told alot of airlines stewardess have order from them when they fly there and the also ship to USA.
and i was like, what IS that!? thankfully i encountered it again at cleopatra's palace perfumes our host magde dewaider treated us like old friends serving cool mint tea as they shared countless natural oils and attars. you could make a pretty penny importing such a precious commodity. i'm going back to do just that!
thanks for posting this. well the tourists sure seem skeptical. i hope they bought something because genuine egyptian perfume oil is sublime. i bought pure rose attar for us$100. for four oz and it just smells like sticking yer nose DEEP into an egyptian pink rose. but the sandalwood. milky white with a sticky consistancy is to be sought. incredible. the first time i smelled it i was gazing at the mask of tutankhamun in the museum in cairo. it was the lady in front of me.
I brought some in eygypt and now there is no smell hardly just oil..paid a lot for three different bottles...dissapointed...sorry to be negative
