What type of glider is this, looks like you wouldnt have any need for servos or any of that because of the tail design?

Nice sweater, but 0% side/back of head shots. What gives?

It's a highly modified Ultra Flyer toy store foam glider. You still need servos for the tail controls and a speed controller for the motor.

Thanks! seems to fly well! I'm new to this and am trying to find a suitable 180 to 250 as you had suggested. Would the Exceed Alpha 400 be too much, even with a 3" prop?

Propeller and motor mount details will vary with motor type, for instance a 250 uses about a 7 inch prop and the mount would have to be taller to clear, or motor mounted on the nose.. The 3 incher will only work with a tiny motor, such as the GWS, and the combo's performance is barely adequate (but acceptable for my use). My friend's 400 powered one climbs nearly straight up, but doesn't glide as well as my lighter one. It's all a trade-off, and it's easy and cheap to experiment! Have fun!

Any videos of this bird flying? Seems like it might make an indestructable trainer..
