XC '05 PIAA AA State Championships

Kid from Springfield falls meters before the finish line when he was in the top 20 of hundreds of participants. Also some great showdowns taken in slow-mo including Ed Penetar from Bishop O'Hara taking out Doug Gibbons from Prep, who later went on to win States.

dude it stinks to fall at the end of a race. i ran xc this year (8th grader) and there was this one race where i fell about a yard from the finish. i had the lead but this girl sprints up behind me on the hill and the finish was about 100 yrds from the top...well, i was like "no way im losing here!" so i sprint and catch up. we were neck and neck to the very end, and im not a gr8 sprinter so i was pushing hard...and i think i basically leaned to far forward and tripped over my own feet it stinks

Dunkelberger was disapointing in track atleast at states i expected him to win but he got like 10th....
