I remember nearly all of the adverts from April 1993 including the KFC promotional 'Popcorn Chicken one featuring the late Alan Freeman. Sarah Matravers who appeared in the Pantene advert went on to appear in the ITV1 revamped 1990s game show 'Take Your Pick' with co-host Des o' Connor.

I really miss the Big Breakfast I was 12 when it used to be on in the mornings before school back in 1993.And to think im nearly 30 now!!!

Of course, Alan Freeman never, ever said "mate" with a straight face ... but post-Smashie & Nicey, unlike almost all his former colleagues, he could (as indeed he always had) send himself up brilliantly.
