It's not all southern irish people, it's mainly the people of Shannon and west that are unhappy. I doubt people in Dublin and Cork even care about Aer Lingus leaving Shannon. I'm from south and I'm glad Aer Lingus are starting up in Northern Ireland.

It is a shame about Shannon loosing it's Heathrow route but I'm very happy Aer Lingus is expanding into the North and I cant wait to fly Heathrow-Belfast!
