The Magic Bucket

The Magic Bucket, (http://evacuteer.org/the-magic-bucket) has raised $30,273.28 from over 500 donors after evacuteer.org leaders challenged their online networks to match $173.28 the team raised during a six-hour street performance in New Orleans' French Quarter.

We need to raise $350,000 more to accomplish our goal of placing permanent public art at each of the City of New Orleans 17 assisted evacuation pick up locations.

Joined by the Arts Council of New Orleans, American Institute of Architects, Eskew + Dumez + Ripple, and over 500 donors via www.themagicbucket.org, Evacuteer.org has raised over $150,000 of the $510,000 needed to fund 17 permanent pieces of 3D public art that will double as hurricane evacuation pick up point markers.
