Melodica Demo

A not-so-quick demo of an iPhone app called "Melodica".
It is easier than it looks here to hit the right buttons... but I was viewing the screen through the display on my camera. Sorry for the blurry. You should get the idea, though.

I wanted to do just 2-3 minutes... but it is just so much fun.

When this started, I figured I'd check it out for 30 seconds or so.

hehe... yeah. there is some sort of hypnotic factor about this kind of software. So easy, so cheap. It almost isn't reasonable.

Does look like fun! How does it do the notes? I noticed it 10 high so you can't fit a full chromatic scaled so does it come programed to just a certain scale?

As it stands right now, it is a D Pentatonic scale.

I'm guessing the developers are going to have new scales available in the next version - shipping soon.

You don't need to know anything to play it, though! I had no idea what buttons to light up based on the notes. You quite literally can not screw up!
