While doing research for Kaki Kings Rehearsal Space interview last year, we came across many references to her inclusion on a list of Guitar Gods compiled by Rolling Stone Magazine. We decided to ask her what that accolade felt like from her perspective.

Most musicians, when asked a question like this with a big camera pointed at them, tend to respond with something polite or insist that they never read their own press. Fortunately, Kaki is not the type of interviewee to hold back.

In this weeks Deeper Dive, Kaki shares her reaction to the Rolling Stone piece a reaction that many musicians have experienced after reading a journalists critique of their work.
